X-Post: ACNA Southern California Chapter Kern River drive weekend

If anyone's interested and will be in the neighborhood on August 5th and 6th, the Southern California Chapter will be having a weekend event of driving through the Sierras and then rafting down the lower Kern. If you like a) driving, or b) getting out of the city, then you'll have fun.
