Xenon headlight "lazy eye"
The driver side xenon headlight now points a few feet in front of the bumper. The headlamp no longer self-levels the light well ahead of the car. The little wheel/cog behind the headlight assembly does not control where the beam aims.
How can i get it back to normal?
(i.e. when the headlight is switched on the beams points up & down within a short range and stops at an optimal aim/angle)
This is for a 2000 A6 4.2L
thx

Temporary but this will do for a while: http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/car...alignment.html
Check your ride-height level sensors (w/ vagcom) to determine if one of them is not working properly.
