Yankee fans are all class...unlike some other "fans" around the country...
A couple nights ago the Yanks got no-hit by 6 Astro pitchers...the Yankee fans were on their feet cheering when dude finished the no-hitter.
Last night, Clemens strikes out his 4000th...they appropriately cheer which continued through former-Yankee Tino Martinez' at-bat...
Today...they cheer for Tino when he gets up...and even after he whacks a 2-run homer to cut the Yanks lead to 4-2!
Yankee fans appreciate the players...and appreciate good performances...whether it is always in the Yanks best interest or not...
It's great to go to a game where the fans cheer their team and/or a good play, etc...rather than incessant jeers about how the other team "sucks"...
Just thought I'd add some meaningless sports-fan commentary...

Not true, no problem...I've been to 150+ Yankee games in the Bronx...
and never have I seen any serious ragging on other team's fans...except Boston (mutual admiration)...and the mets (intentional lower case, they suck).
I know, I lived there...and I go to games every year. I've been to many, many other teams stadiums...and the only place that comes close as far as not being dikcs to the other fans is St. Louis.
Some places are much worse than others though. Chicago (football), Oakland (baseball and football), SF (football), and the mets are amongst the worst I've seen.
