Zender spoiler vs. RS6 spoiler vs. M5 spoiler
#21
I haven't seen any spoilers in person except the RS6, but they all look a little tacky to me. The
trunk lines on the A6 are just difficult to 'add' to. ANY spoiler will interrupt the flow of the design, and IMO the RS6 spoiler is acceptable on the actual RS6 b/c it is within keeping with the skirts and bumper styling.
Otherwise, I have to say I like the LLtek the least, as it is so thick, and IMO the cutout for the trunk rings is not 'cool', it's a poor design resolution.
Like I said, this is just a tough car to add any spoiler to. The M5 is OK, least protrusive, but a little 'fine' or 'thin' looking.
In the end the proportions of the RS6 are best, though a bit much for the 2.7, less so the 4.2, and OK on the RS6.
You did ask for opinions :-)

I like Zender for 2 reasons
1) It breaks up the round butt look at the top of the trunk.
2) I have one on my car. :-) RS6 and M5 were not an option for me in 2001.
I do like the M5 spoiler, but I have no intention to switch.

I only ordered from them once and I have no complaints...
didn't know others here have had problems w/ them. Anyway, thanks for responding.

Thanks everyone for the input. Positive or negative, I've always wondered...
what everyone thought. Now, I know why there's hardly any inquiries on Zender. It's the most expensive of the three plus it seemed to get the lowest rating as well.
BTW, I guess I should rate the other two spoilers since I haven't yet:
RS6 - 8
M5 - 7
I used to like the look w/o a spoiler (like on my old 2.8), but now I think it brings out some definition and style by adding any of these three spoilers vs. nothing at all. Oh well, I still like being unique w/ mine. =P

I'd give about the same score and comment
i particularly do not like how is wrap around the four Audi circles. It does look the part and definitely look pricey as well, however, anything busy looks out of part on an Audi where fluid line is the key to its design and I think that is why until now there ins't an aftermarket body kit that works well on an A6 simply because I think they all try too hard to over do it. Something subtle would work the best actually
