The 2007 530xi was not an option for me, i wanted the ipod integration and some of the tech options. The 2008 535xi loaded is so new they wouldn't discount much. So a 60% residual with a 6% money factor was not that different a payment than a discounted 2007 a6 loaded with a low residual and <1% money factor. The difference was there was no way i had the option to buy the 535 at the end of 3 years. And if I gamble on audi residuals just increasing, the car is a viable option to buy and drive/flip and wait for the right price on a new car.
