20x9 tire size
Hi Audi World team, need some advice as to which size tire is a best fit for a Niche Verona 20x9 rim with a 38mm offset. They will be going on my 2010 Audi A6. Appreciate the advice(s).

Your offset is lower than I am running but 255 or 265 30/20 should be fine. If you plan on lowering that could change. Once you put it all together share pics with the forum.

Thanks for the reply The_Mizarc. I went with the 38 offset because the rims I had before had a 43 offset and actually stuck out of the wheel well a bit too far. Hitting big bumps caused the tire to kiss the fender, the 38mm seem to look just fine. I'm leaning towards the 265 so 1 vote there.

Already checked. I put the rim on (minus rubber) and it was about an inch further towards the rotor assembly. My only concern now is which tire size will fit. It appears that I have about 3.5" of clearance from the rim to the upper control arm on the front, it looks tight but I think a 265/30 tire will fit....I hope.

The main issue you'll have won't be offset but will be the width of the tire on your wheels. If you live in a place with not so great roads, be prepared for some cracked rims. Don't get me wrong, they look great...but they don't ride so great, especially if you happen to have a bad back or something.

Appreciate the input raj99. I am currently considering putting 245/35R20 tires on. This gives me a little more rubber between the rim and road plus my speedo will only have a 1mph difference on 60 mph. Another benefit is a more narrow tire will afford me better clearance on the front suspension which is tight with a 20" rim.
