Hi anyone that is feeling helpfuly and preferably knows more than me about Audi fault codes.

I have an Audi A6 2010 2.0 TDI Auto. Just started (about a week ago) intermittently showing a constant ESP warning light ansd flashing glowplug warning light. Often stopping and restarting the engine is an immediate fault clear. Car also loses power (limp mode?) when the faults are on. Brakes work fine, including lights even when the fault lights are on. It seems to be getting more regular - started out as every fourth or fifth time, now every other time I start the car. It's dry and warm, no rain or situations that could have caused water to have entered the ECU housing. I accept I will likely have to pay a specialist garage but was hoping someone here may be able to tell me whether it's accelerator switch, wiring or ECU or something else entirely .......... The exact treadout I got from the garage (who say they can't fix it as it needs an Audi specialist to read the codes) is :

2 x FAULTS

01314 ENGINE CONTROL MODULE
P212200 THROTTLE / PEDAL SENSOR / SWITCH D - CIRCUIT INPUT
POSSIBLE FAULT WITH PEDAL OPR WIRING FAULT, OR ECU.
NOT CLEARED DOWN
