its a clear sticker thats applied to areas susceptible to rock chips
they are hard to see but if u try to look close at 1st it might look like a scratch but then u see its the edge line since its clean n straight it doesnt hurt appearance much
i believe they are non permanent

I also put the clear stickers on the front, mirrors, along door edges, etc. along with a 30 percent tint, lowered the car with eibach springs and put 19's - Konigs with 255/35 PS2's. oh, and and a built in radar detector system- that's it so far. My wife would prefer the C6 S6 lower grill piece, but that would be spendy (no actually REALLY spendy). would be pretty cool though to have 4 sets of led's.
probably WON'T be able to convince her we NEED to add more hp with a $1500 ECU flash, but I'm working on it. apparently she seems to think the car is fast enough- can you imagine that? a stock 4200 lb. AWD car that goes 0-60 in 5.5 and 14 flat in the quarter with a 3 L V-6- definitely not fast enough - I prefer 0-60 in 4.7 and under 14 in the quarter myself- like with the APR chip- we'll see.
known future uprades will be
1. Audi track day and drivers school- no.1 upgrade ANY new driver should do first- BEFORE anything else. I already had this class with the BMW club- HIGHLY recommended
2. rear trunk plastic or rubber cover (over the carpet)
3. white euro front side markers
4. front AND rear sway bars- if and when anyone comes out with them (this may wait a while- not a very necessary upgrade, but would be nice and relatively inexpensive)
thats about it- Oh, and BTW we paid $750 for the tint AND clear film protection all together as a package deal from a small tint shop in Auburn, WA. this is a SCREAMING deal if anyone has priced this stuff and they do a GREAT job. Also, I got my eibach springs purchased, installed and warrantied and my front end realigned, out the door with tax for $650- Les Schwab Tire Center. In case anyone is out West and needs to find an installer for the Eibach system. cheers, Niels
