Default Any one have this strange radio behavior?

This is second hand via my wife, so hopefully I describe it properly.

According to her, she usually leaves her radio set to FM and uses the "Previous stations" page to switch among the stations she listens to most often.

Sometimes when she selects a station from her previous list (e.g. 98.5) the display will instead scroll down and select some other station (e.g. 105.5) from the list of "regular" (not previous) FM stations.

I don't know her MMI version, but I guess first off, is this something anyone has seen before?

I believe that's one of the complaints you can use to get an MMI update... I'd check the version (33.6 is most recent). Also look at Pierreb's sig for a link to the related TSB's.

Default Thanks, I guess I should have been more specific

I did search before posting (honest!)

The TSB linked in pierrb's sig mentions that the TSB only applies to 2005 A6s and was fixed for the 2007 model year. Our A6 is an early 2007, so in theory it should be OK. I'll check the MMI version tonight.

Thanks again

Default The MMI will not tune a station which falles below..

a signal threshold. It may be that you are in a poor reception area of experiencing interference.

Default Isn't there a dist/loc setting for radio sensitivity?

I'll have to check - maybe yours is set on "local"?

Default Have not seen one but...

I live in a rural location and all radio reception with any radio is a problem. Our closest radio transmitter is 50 miles away.

Default Nope- I get *this* problem

occasionally, will flip over to "presets" and they are all greyed out and unselectable. anyone else?

usually, i have to delete all presets, reset to factory settings and then reprogram them. then again- sometimes it comes back after a stop and restart of the car.

going in for the 25K service monday and they're going to look at it...
