Anyone with the new A6 and beige interior?

Re: Anyone with the new A6 and beige interior?
I have a Brilliant Black with Beige Leather. It shows more of the scuff marks and dust shows more readily but I would highly recommend the color combination. Though the Amaretto leather is very nice as well.

Re: Here is one pic of mine!
Thanks a lot rpmk. Exactly what I was looking for. I have now ordered my first Audi, a new A6 4,2 Qt Tip with the same interior (but walnut wood) and Canyonred pearl exterior. I live in Sweden so I also get a lot of wet and mucky weather just like You. I have to wait until the end of December for delivery but it will be a great christmas present to myself :-)

Don't be afraid of maintaining a light interior...
The pic below is of my previous C5 A6's Vanilla interior after 3 years--Used Mothers spray leather cleaner perhaps 1X per month. Required very little effort to keep clean.

Liked the open, airyness of the lighter leather so much we opted for the cream beige interior on our new A8. These leathers clean up fairly easily, so I wouldn't be concerned---Consider how may people are fooled into never cleaning a black interior, and are sitting on filthy seats!

This is very true. My beige leather hasn't aged at all and looks very clean.
This is only with a wet rag to wipe off every week or so. I haven't done any formal cleaning and it's stayed very nice. I think Audi's leather and interiors are the best. Very high end and elegant.

Derf, does your new D3 have the "tiny wholly" leather seat inserts ( assume it's for the air movement option we have, that I can barely feel anyway )? If so, I find it interesting to say the least to clean the seats as I always feel most of the cleaner is going through and into the seat and I'll be darned if I know whats under the "wholly mesh"....

Hey D3! No, I opted not to get the ventilated seats. Was concerned about how the perforated...
...leather would wear, and figured that there might be some cleaning issues with stuff getting into those tiny holes; was afraid any caked-in debris might darken against the cream leather.

Back at you. On eof my pups got car sick on the very first road trip we took in greyboy and I can attest to "caked debris" getting into holes.....YUK!!!I also tend to think that the leather by default is more "supple" and thus thinner in nature of continuity and more subject to tears and seems over time to get creasy. Needless to say I won't get it in '07.
