Anyone use E-code headlights?
I searched the forums, it is possible I'm too stupid, but I couldn't find the info I was looking for.
Anyhow, has anyone changed their headlights from the OEM DOT to the E-code (European) spec headlights?
My local European car parts store says it's a worthwhile upgrade, that a lot more light will hit the ground, as well as more light will be projected further down the road.
I searched online, but couldn't find anything specific to an A6 being modded as such.
The headlights are wicked expensive ($2k plus!!!), so before I even think of spending that insane amount of money, I though I'd post and see if any of you had any real world feedback.
Thank you in advance for any feedback, or any info any of ya'll can provide!
As such I doubt you will see any dfferance installing lights sourced from Europe.

Do you have access to VCDS? If so using the long coding helper you can enable a feature called Highway Light. At speeds of over 110km/h the lights will automatically switch to motorway (highway) mode doubling the visibility from 70m to 150m in low-beam mode motorway light mode.
