Default Audi Satellite Unlock?

In today's age of security, I am forced to go through security checkpoints whenever I enter into a courthouse. I usually place my keys, wallet, and phone in my briefcase and then put that on the x-ray scanner. I neglected to take my keys out of the briefcase (it's a rolling, sturdy canvas bag) but was able to unlock my car when I approached it because the keys were in my bag by my side. I flipped the briefcase into the back seat, closed the door and heard the beep consistent with the doors locking. It appears that the bag rolled over onto the key fob and the "Lock" button was pressed. A call to AAA and an hour later, I was unlocked and on my way, but someone mentioned to me later that day that had I called Audi, they could have unlocked my car via satellite. Has anyone heard of this? Experienced this? My car is a 2007 S6. Thanks.

No they can't unlock your car through sattellite. They can, however, unlock your car with their tool. lol

If you have the advanced key, theorectically you could press the unlock/lock button under the door handle. The key should be close enough inside the car to work. I'd try but i only have one key now and with my luck it wouldnt work.

I think for safety purpose, whenever the key is inside the car, noone should be able to just unlock your car by press the button on the door handle.
