updated: this phone is not on audi's list (at least in the us) as being compatible with bluetooth. (althought it works...sort of....)

hi everyone. i have no problems getting bluetooth to connect with the car but i have no memory settings or phone number information. if i want to make a call i have to dial the number through the mmi. i can end the call with the mmi but it seems like all the other features are not available..
anyone have their phone numbers showing through the mmi using bluetooth with this phone am i missing something???

I too have the VX8100 and none of the features you mentioned work. The explaination I've seen before is that the phone is locked.

The weird thing with this phone is that no one can hear me speak very well. They say they can barely hear me. Do you get any complaints from the people you call?

i have only had the phone for a few days..but no volume complaints yet..
i spoke with audi, this phone is not on the supported list. only motorola and ericcson and none of the newer models are listed..:-(

Have the same phone in my A4. No phonebook or memory. Think the prob is with Verizon more then Audi.
