Damaged Skirt on an S-Line....costs/options?
I had to quickly pull into a parking lot to try to help out some poor guy who was having the stuffing kicked out of him by a road-rager, and in the process, I scraped the skirt (by hitting a very high curb) underside my passenger and rear door (I have an s-line...I think that the skirting is a bit different and the car is definately lower).
The car is going into Audi for an estimate...has anyone had this kind of bodywork done before and what would I expect to be hosed...er..I mean pay if a) it can be bondo-ed and repainted or b) if the skirting has to be replaced in some way. There is some kind of textured coating over that area of the skirting so I don't know what that area is made of...I haven't looked at it too extensively yet. At this point, the scrape/gouge is pretty deep and it looks a bit dented in.
Any help would be appreciated. BTW, the recipient of the road rage incident made it OK...a gang of people in all directions coming at the guy throwing the punches caused him to jump in his car and scram. Not a pleasant sight.
Thank you all.

If you're talking about the rocker panel, maybe $400-$600
Inept parking garage attendants have put long dents with missing paint on both my driver's and passenger's side rocker panels. The body shop charged around $500 each time (happened twice), but I can't remember exactly how much. Supposedly, they attach rivets to the panel, pull out the dent, and hammer the metal back flat. The $500 included a repaint. Good luck.
