ENGINE CODE "P2180"??

hi all,

the engine light came on, on my 2005 A6 3.5
the code reads "P2180"
can ya tell me whats the comon fix to this?

Try replacing the MAF or O2 sensors, they are usually the cause of the code. But to start I would just try clear the code via vag-com then seeing if it comes back...

not to be overly blunt...but you NEED to do some leg-work yourself.

vag-com is both a hardware device and a software service that YOU would PURCHASE from ross-tech. I provided you the link and you can look up the prices for everything on their web site. Or if you are confused, call them.

...a note of advice, be careful of purchasing vag-com cables on ebay...since a VAST majority or fakes or will only work minimally and not be supported by ross-tech for all services.
