Default Fuel light issue

I left the car outside last night I usually park it in the garage, the weather here dropped into the 20's. Yet, I figured its a euro so it can handle the cold. This morning my wife turned on the car the fuel gauge was on empty, and the low fuel warning was on. So we drove to the store I put 30 into the tank and still nothing gauge is on completely empty and fuel warning light is still on. Has anyone else had this problem or could guess what a solution might be?

Oh my car is a 05 3.2 incase its not on here.

There is a TSB on the fuel gauge issue in my TSB library, which is linked in my signature. I had the problem a few years ago and the dealer followed the procedure in the TSB and the issue was resolved.

So this looks like it could be a potential pain in the ***. Lol. May I ask how much the dealer charged you?

It was covered under warranty so I don't know.
