After noting the dirth of such wheels, including Audi's only accessory wheel for the new A6: the "Calita by BBS," which is a heavy 2-piece cast aluminum wheel priced at $811, I set about finding an alternative choice.

As a result, I've reserved a set of Champion's 8.5" X 18" fully forged Monolite RF26 wheels (ET 40; weight: 18 lbs.) for my 2005 A6 4.2, which I hope to take delivery of in February.

Though the RF26's list for $1,146 a piece, a current oversupply allowed Jesse Hemans of Champion to offer me a set of 4 at a substanial discount!!
