First, thanks for the good advices, I have finally got the car to start after a serious water damage. However, I still cannot get the gears to engage.

Here is what I have replaced so far:

1. TCU (the original was completed rusted)
2. Brake light switch
3. Shifter-lock solenoid
4. Replaced the Shifter Selector Circuit-board


I have several abnormalities:

1. The parking light on the shifter lights up only when the gear-lever is on neutral, never on “Park” position.

2. The tranny does not in engage when in drive “D”, nor does it engage in any other position for that matter.

3. I can only start it when in neutral position.
