Default HID vs. non-HID headlights

Can you guys tell me if halogen versions of the C6 A6 lights have projector low beams? I'm looking at a used one and the pictures shows that it has projector headlights, but not sure if it comes with bi-xenons or not.
Thanks..

I have seen non xenons that are not projectors for sure. I think this in different countries though. I'm not sure about the US here since I think they always come with xenons which are always projector headlamps.

If that's true, has anyone put on HID drop-in kits? Do they work ok?

My US A6 does not have HID (Xenon) lights and also does not have Projectors. My headlights are just a standard socket light with no projector.

I was looking at putting in some HID dorp in kit but havent. My stock housing does have a decent light cut off similar to the Xenon/projectors. this line is not as distinct as the Projection housing but does do a great job. I just havent had time to add/purchase the drop in HID kit yet.

I am sure the drop in kit will do just fine. I had them on my previous cars and NO I don't own a Civic or a Honda. Best light out-put is 4300K but for both worlds 5000K or 6000K is good.

That is not correct. In the US, xenon and projectors go hand in hand, and free form (typical headlight) housing and halogen go hand in hand. There is no over-lapping.

Nutshell: headlights look like "eyes", it has xenon
