Hello!

My car A6 C6 2.7 TDI Avant has a high pressure fuel pump with number 059130755J with its ending 'J' as its modification number.

I ordered an used pump from ebay but the merchant sent me different item with it ending 'E' instead of 'J'.

Merchant says it will fit in my car. And upon a phone call with a local repair shop, indeed it appears to be the same item physically.

But neither of them can guarantee that the said pumps are compatible to each other and if it will work on my car.

Does anyone know or have experience on the similar matter?

My pump is ok and has no CEL. But it is loose and makes rattling noise when the car is running. I have been reading and checking YouTube videos and learned that most VW diesel cards seem to have the exactly the same problem with the HPFP making the same noise.

It seems this noise is not an indication of a near future problem but obviously something to do with the pump getting old.

Please help, Audi friends!!

should work ok!
E is superseeded by J..and J is superseeded by N..that is the latest one..(according to official spare part system.)
