I bought the nice black/black RS6 grille for my S6, and was surprised to see the access to the original grille appears to be all tucked in behind, with little to no room for a driver to get in and remove the screws


Anyone done the swap themselves? Would be nice to get some input before i start tinkering


Really hoping i don't have to remove the whole bumper

Well that was easy: got a pm saying bumper cover removal is necessary

Anyone know of a DIY for the C6?

I saw the A3 one on VW Vortex, but would really like to find one specific to a 2008 S6

don't want to miss any steps

there is thread out there i believe that has pics on How To....

But in any case , the bumper has to go out in order to replace the grill...

searched for about 30 mins to find a DIY

the only one i could find is a link to an A3 bumper cover removal
