Jazz - do you have a pic taken from top down that shows how the tips protrude from openings?

I got this done and it's the sweetest mod i've done for the car. But i'm toying with the idea of having the tips realigned to angle outward to match the curvature of the valance - just like the OEM S6 tips do.

see side and over-top pics inside -- car is REAAAALLLY DIRTY now... doh...

there isn't much room to play with to have a clean cut and good weld so i'm not sure, but i guess you could hide the tips more... i don't mind the way they look though

I'd relocate your rings so they're more centered within the new space created with the wing/lip.

i did the 997 tips and IMHO they look so much better than the S6 tips. The S6 tips are kind of

dainty compared to the power of the car. And I love the way the 997 tips stick out, very cool. See the tips on the Acura TL S-Type, those suckers are HUUUUUUUUGE.
