Lawyer screen on MMI
Hi -
Looking to get rid of the introductory "lawyer" screen that you must "accept" when the car turns on. I understand that Audi must put this on to protect themselves from frivolous lawsuites but now that I've seen it for the thousandth time, I get it!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You'll learn to ignore it.
I've had my car for 18 months and I barely notice it anymore. Is it so hard to automatically hit the scroll button just after you start the car? It becomes to be a habit.
So other than that, how's your car?

Re: Let us know if you figure out how to delete!!!
Following up on this thread.
There does not appear to be a way to circumvent the lawyer screen. I have confirmed that this is a unique screen to the North American market (U.S. lawyers!! :-( )
I've been checking the BMW forums to see if people have been able to solve a similar problem they have on 5 and 7 Series models. Apparently there are many ways to "hack" BMW software that aren't available to an Audi driver. Maybe this is because MMI software is still so new?
I checked with Audi. They, of course, have no intention of allowing you off the hook with the message but did conceed that perhaps it would have been better to time out to the next screen if the button remain untouched for 30 seconds or so. Maybe this feedback will result in a future change? I'm not holding my breath, though.
Its just a petty annoyance but another example of how the US legal system of litigation pervades our lives.
I'll learn to ignore the screen over time. Bummer.
