Hi all,
Just bought an 06 4.2 with 64,000 miles on it. When is the "major" service? I need to ask the previous owner if it was done, and if its at 65K - I need to get out my checkbook!

Can anyone post the service instructions for this service?

55k was the the major one on my 3.2.

On the 06 4.2 they have to take the nose off of the car to perform the 75K service. The service was not cheap.

To replace the ribbed v belt I'm guessing

IF ITS THE belt it makes sense. ive replaced that when they dropped the engine for oil leaks at 74K
so they only charged me for the belt no labor. but the Ext Warranty picked up a tab of $4K for the rest...
