Default Navigation Pre-Wiring -- Question Though

So I have these connectors and fiber optic loop in my truck under the Satellite Radio module:

Obviously, I Need the 4E0 919 887 (x) dvd unit for the NAV. The 3 wire connector is obvious. The removal of the fiber optic loop and plugging in of it to the nav is obvious. But........There are the green and brown antenna connectors. Which gets used? Every single dvd unit I've found shows a single connector on the back. Any ideas what the other connector is for, and which color gets used for the nav?

Not sure but I thought the brown and green antennas are for sirius. The GPS antenna should be blue

You already have Satellite radio?
The brown one, I believe, is supposed to be Satellite radio.
The green one not so sure.
I believe the antenna connections are all fundamentally the same, so you could try hooking up the GPS to the green and start off.

Hmm......I think I mistook an MMI module for the Sat module. Apparently I do NOT have the Sat installed. Does have the shark fin antenna though. Hmmm.......May not be as plug and play as I was hoping to find. Oh well, gotta get the parts first.

I think you should look further up, closer to the pillar , the blue antena for GPS should be tucked in there.

That would be killer if it was. If not, I can always use one of those hideaway ones based off the research I've seen. Or I'll just wire it in. It's not rocket science.

cars without Nav option don't have the GPS ant. wire pre-ran, you can either remove the shark fin to run the wire or just use a separate antenna.

You might not need to remove the shark fin to do that , there is already a connector installed you just need an extension. Read last post: Navigation is not active.

I tried to locate instructions/pics for removing the pillar cover I couldn't find any. If you manage to do it, post a couple pics for the next guy!
