Default Need help identifying this engine part -pictures

Dear A6C6 fans, my car stopped running while driving and when I looked under the hood I found a hose connector that appears to be broken (tho this was not what caused the initial issue). Car runs as is - for now - but I want to replace the broken part. Please see pictures - red markings - if you know what it is or what system is connected. Kindest.

That's a vacuum hose which attached to the air guide hose (between the air filter and your throttle body) and will cause your vehicle to run rough and potentially misfire if not replaced.

You could probably DIY a copper fitting and remove the remnants in the hose and attach the 2 parts without much issue.
