Need New Battery
Hi, i think this has gone around the forum before. so i just went to the car to turn it on, and nothing a click and thats it... it happened before. the temps are low, 20s these couple of days, i have used the car in almost a week now... do u think the battery should be replaced or is it the cold weather. and if the battery, any recommendations!!

Just be careful if you go to the dealer. Long story short, the San Jose, CA Audi dealer had to replace the "new factory" battery (in my 2006 A3) 4 times until they got one that was actually not so old it died within days of the install. Just seems that the ones that Audi had in inventory were actually 3-5 years old and they were dead on arrival. Hold a charge for 24-48 hour and then dead...

RobV10: The funny part of that story isn't the Audi portion, but that the dealer put the battery in and didn't run a stress test on it before they handed it back to you... I dunno, but Steven's Creek doesn't seem to be the brightest on that one. What are the specs on your S6? I'm local also, would love to meet... let me know.

i just got one today from Audi dealer... I called up and the guy said $160 so my brother went to pick it up and he gave him the VIN AND than the guy told him $230 cause i have a 4.2 Engine lol 
and he got him to bring it down to 180 LOL ... so he brought to me and i just disconnected the old one, conn the new one and BAM ... all done ...
