Default Newest Nav disk

Audi MMI Navigation System DVD Map Update - North America - version 8

Wondering if this is the newest version that you can get for the Nav system. Also would an 05 A6 need to get MMI updates to run this disk.

Thanks

Default how do you know what version you have? How do you access it?

Shouldn't the dealer upgrade your program to the newest one out there? I just bought mine a month ago, if I don't have the newest upgrade can I go back and bitch at them and make them do the upgrade? Or do you think that they will just laugh at me.

THanks

Default for MMI, you should call/email your SA first to feel them out. for NAV disk, if you didn't get it at

sale, you're usually SOL and should order from Navteq. can't hurt to ask your salesman anyway though.

Print/email the TSBs in my sig to convince the SA to help you for the MMI upgrade if you need one...let us know the version first.

Default you have version 07.50. Current* is 33.60. look over the TSBs and contact your dealer.

*current as far as update CDs available goes...2008 models come with 44+ iirc.
