Default OEM grill filler piece vs. New (china) RS6 Style Grill

Recently picked up an '07 A6 Avant S-line. It was a great price, with full history of timely dealer service and maintenance. Tidying up a few things, one of them being the grill. I'm in a province where there is no front license plate requirement, but the car has the front plate mount, and it's cracked. I've identified the following options:
1. OEM filler piece

2. RS6 style grill

Either option will cost me the same once I figure in shipping and exchange rates, or about $140 Canadian. Which strikes me as unreasonable for the filler plate, but pretty good for an entire new grill, which is contributing to my indecision. FWIW, I have no plans on putting any S6 or RS6 badges on it. Will probably transfer over the S-Line badge though. Opinions?

I did that to mine and added a emblem I made, 4 round COB LED rings which fit perfectly into the OEM badge holder.

Just get a nice RS6 style grill. LEDs and such aren't my taste and I like a clean look.

Damn, that looks good. Same colour as mine as well. Too bad I didn't see this yesterday, I decided to go with the OEM filler piece, keep the stock look, easier to install, and less risk of quality issues with a knock off RS6 grill. That does look great though.

What kind of headlights are those?! I have an 06 a6 avant and mine are on their way out (the motor is failing) and I am looking for new ones that are reasonably priced and wont throw any codes.
