My friend is looking at a 2008 a6 with just over 98k miles. Drives and looks beautiful, just did a scan and it shows a code but it has no check engine light on. Any potential expensive repairs with that code?

could be the HPFP sensor, but I'd first zero out all the codes and see if it comes back.
Also, it may be the fuel filter that needs to be changed...a LOT of folks don't perform this normal maintenance and it's pretty darn easy to do on the C6.

Thanks Raj99, I did a lot of reading on that code. You are correct, I'll let him know what i found. I had my fuel filter changed for $80 labor included. Would be a shame to pass on that car if it's just that.
