Default Paid $515 for a clear bra ... and tested it through 340 miles of driving

After putting the clear bra (2 hours installation by a certified 3M installer), I drove 340 miles with my A6 Avant and really punch on the accelerator 85 - 105 MPH. After I got home, I gathered many bugs stuck on the clear bra and grill. I got a paper towel, soak it in water, and wiped the bugs clean. Can't believe how easy it was to wipe it all out.

This was also the first time I drove the Avant purely on the highway and country backroads. With 342 miles registering on my trip meter after resetting it with a full tank gas, I still have 185 miles remaining. I still don't know if I can do 500 miles before refueling, but I may reach it.

Default I added the Clear Bra as well...great product

After looking at the pitted mess on the front of my 99.5 A4 (Santorin Blue), I knew I needed to protect the A6. You really cannot even notice it and a simple drive thru the touchless car wash is enough to get the bugs off. I hope it holds up with the winter sand/salt mixtures as well.

Default 7,500 miles on mine

Just returned from a 7,500 cross country from Seattle to Boston and back. Cleaned the windshield every day (only 1 fill-up needed daily) and used the scrubber to clean the bra and headlight lenses too. Was able to wash some of what remained when I got home, but took some time with a toothbrush and soap to get them all. The bra is my second and I feel worth every penny of the 600 I spent. Mine also protects the fronts of the rearview mirrors which got buggy as well.

On days when we drove all interstates I got at least 500 miles from a tankful and one day in Kansas got 585, but I think I had a tailwind.

Wow 585 miles huh? that's great.

Yeah, they also put it on both side mirrors where bugs stick.

I bet you enjoyed driving those 7,500 miles.

Yep, the bra is worth it. When I had my allroad, I didn't place a bra ... and it was so difficult to remove those buggy spats.

Default note.. clearbra will scratch and unlike clearcoat can not be buffed out..

my recommendation is to not use paper towels or any other abrasives... use microfiber or wash with a wash mitt.
