PCV Valve Location on C6 3.2L
#11
Has anyone replaced the breather valve on Q5 3.2 as in the picture above in this thread?
Is it a case of changing out the part, or is there something to reset or tune once the part has been changed? Considering attempting this myself so any info would be appreciated.
Anyone have a link to somewhere I can order the genuine Audi part in the US?

I did replace mine. it wasn't as difficult as I thought.
the after market part costs only $60.
it sits between the V shape of the engine.
remove everything on top, remove fuel rail, injectors, flappers, you will see it.
pull out the heater hose, then simply remove/replace it.
first time took me 2 hours.
but I didn't install flappers properly, so I had to do it again, 2nd took only 1 hour.
good luck.

Thanks for the information. Where did you purchase the part for $60. I haven't been able to find it online for less than $170.
Thanks again

Coolant pipe under manifold
Hi Stephen,
finally got round to replacing my pcv. I’m in the middle of doing it but can’t figure out how to get the coolant pipe that runs over the pcv out of the way. How to you manage to get this out of the way. Also, did you have to remove both lower intake runners?
thanks

It is located on the rear of the intake manifold, mounted slightly to the driver's side. It is Item No. 13 in this link: Online Audi A6/S6/Avant quattro spare parts catalogue, Europe market, 2007 model year: engine group, cover, ventilation for cylinder block subgroup, Audi VIN decoder, aftermarket, etka online.
