Phone not installed after update to 5570
Hello,
I've followed many of the instructions to update my A6 with 2g MMI to the 5570 version, all three disks seem to go ok but afterwards I have no ability to pair my phone and it says "phone not installed" when pressing the Tel button
I read that you need to install disk 2 again but when trying this - all I get is "n/a" on all the modules on the disk and it will not update further. It seems to have wiped/turned off the BT function.
Everything else seems to be working, is there any pointers from this forum that I can try?
Cheers

you folks mention version 5570 here, is this referring to Version for Europe, USA or Russia ?
the reason I'm asking this is because I read one post by mr-fix.info:MMI 2G software update version EU 5150 / USA 3360 / Russia 5540 – procedure
It is possible to update to version 5570 only from software 5150 or higher. This step is necessary only if you are currently running software version lower than 5150.

- Turn the key to position II and wait for Audi Multi Media Interface to start.
- Load CD1 into first slot in the CD changer.

CD2 of the Euro 3CD set IS the only CD for Bluetooth and has updates for both the 'Handyvorb2' [to Firmware level 1130] and the 'BTA' [to Firmware level 1120] phone modules available with MMI 2G in Europe.
You do have to run the CD2 twice as the MMI update process installs a temporary firmware level on the first run which it replaces on the second run.
What happened on the first run of CD2 [which possibly took 30 mins] and can you still see the BT ECU with either VCDS or by using the 'hidden red screen' function to check the MOST bus?

Hi, I have the same problem, update from CD-2 (even after 2 / 3 times) failed and said NOTOK.
I own an Audi A6 Avant 2006 with MMI 2G in Europe.
Currently I have version 950 of BT. Problems with connecting the smatphone, error message: phone is not placed or connected.
I don't see the Audi BT anymore on my phone. Has been working for almost 1,5 year flawless, but suddenly stopped. I run firmware 5570 all that time.
I don't see the Handyverb2 in the red-list, only a number. I have a VCDS cable and software, is there something to fix with this cable?

I don't think there is something wrong on your MMI, I believe you just need to do VCDS coding in order to make it work.
I had the exact same problem, but can't remember what to change in module to make it working.

I forgot to shot the voice control coding, but here is the rest of my setup, take a look and compare.
These are two different module settings related to telephone and can’t remember exactly under which module is voice located, so pay a visit there as well (if you have it).
