Default No regrets, 3.2 NA engine pulls in the higher RPM

So, if you need 'sport' mode for some passing/merging on the highway or rural roads. The car responds when in the appropriate rev range.

This was my biggest concern. Also there are just so many nice features. The car has a MUCH more solid feel to the chassis than any 2.7t car I drove. And it is quieter in the cabin.

Rather than having to explain to passengers how nice your 2.7t engine is, they will know that your new model A6 is nice upon seeing the car. 18" wheels actually feel softer than my 17" bbs wheels also.

You can see my review via the search function in AW if you would like to hear more.

Default I had a 2.7t and went to a 4.2 sport package C6 with no regrets.

I'm so glad now that I did. I get better mileage with the V8 than I did with the V6. That still blows me away, 335 HP with a larger, heavier vehicle and mileage increased by 1.5 MPG average. The new C6 is by far better than the old C5. I would think the performance would be fairly similar with the 3.2 without the hassles of the turbos. If you are worried about it then get the 4.2. I was very worried about the fuel mileage with the 4.2, it now is a non issue as I am getting as good, or even better than the 3.2's I read about on the forum. 4.2 also comes with options with the 3.2, as standard fare. You'll certainly like the new C6 no matter what you do.

We have an allroad 2.7T and the 3.2 Avant. I like the 2.7T better. Yes, I would miss the turbos.

01' 2.7 Sedan to 06' 3.2 Avant for me.. no regrets--- Good driveability, handling, and improved fuel economy is great blend IMO. Plenty of "Get-up-+Go" fo me. -- God Luck !

Default Me

The 3.2 is a great engine and has more than enough. Turbo rush is nice in overtaking but overall I prefer the 3.2, plus it drink less the 2.7T, believe it or not
