Hi there.

I have programmed a few keys, mostly for vw's and have never had a problem, but this 01 allroad is doing my head in.


I bought 2 new keys for it off ebay like I always have. Partnr 4D0 837 231A
Had the keys cut and used vag key login to get pin code and programmed immobilizer with vcds, no problem.


But when it comes to program the fobs Im getting my *** kicked...

I go to -35 central locks -> -10 adaptation and channel 21 -> tried saving keys on every slot 1-4 not happening, test save yes and push buttons, nothing.


Measuring blocks 007 shows that the original key is responding but none of the new ones are.

Go to adaptation again and try to delete all memory stored for keys, channel 00 save yes and go back to adaptation channel 21 and go for it again. Not a snowballs chance in he.. , I van get the original key working again but thats it.

There is no partnr on the key fob like the oem has, could it be possible that I got the wrong fob (frequency)?

Tried the hocky pokey with original key in ignition position 1 and locking the door manually with the new key from the outside wile pressing buttons and everything multible times with no luck.. Didnt think that was going to work anyway because when i manualt lock the door with the key from the drivers side only the drivers door locks, probably a microswitch problem in drivers door doorlock module.........


I think I'll just order a new fob with same partnr from someone else on ebay and hope that frequenzy was wrong on the 2 first I got...
