For MY '05 3.2 V6, P/N for EPB module (with software) is 4F0-910-801-A or -C (VIN dependent). It is located in the trunk, right side, side compartment below the tools.

4F0910801D is the latest version of the EPB module. I just ordered one, hopefully this solves my problem.
