Replaced Rotors and Pads on All 4 Wheels Last Night, Now Pedal Feels Soft?
So I decided to replace all 4 rotors and pads last night. I have done the pads on front and back before so all that was new to me was the rotors which seemed straight forward. Encountered 2 problems while doing the work. 1) all the rotors took some "convincing" to come off the hub. They were probably the originals and rusted on pretty well. But after watching a couple youtube videos with tips I got them off. 2) when I was doing the rear pads, it was clear the pads I bought from FCP Euro were not going to fit. They were for a C6 A6 but somehow there are 2 options for rear pads when buying Pagid's. There's one that says for HD (I assume heavy duty) brakes and one that says just rear. I got the HD labeled ones not knowing there was a difference and they're slightly bigger and won't fit into the caliper. So after getting the rotor changed out and sitting there wondering what I was going to do I decided to put the old pads back in till I could get new rear pads today. I know this is not ideal but I needed the car to get to work this morning, and didn't see another way.
So my question is, is the soft feel of my brake pedal because I have the old worn pads in the rears after compressing the caliper? Or did I get air in the system I have to bleed out? I kept a close eye on the brake fluid during the process, taking some out when compressing the rears and refilling to just below MAX fill. I don't remember having this issue when I did the pads last time. Thanks! Shout out to all the DIY help I found on this forum. It really helps to have this knowledge available to us all.

I don't know if it's psychological or what, but pedal pressure often feels "soft" after doing brakes. If your confidence is high that you didn't admit any air, I'd drive the car for a few days and see if it isn't normal and the braking action is as expected. If it doesn't seem right, do a complete bleed again when you have a chance.
Keep in mind, the bleeding pattern on these cars is not traditional (when equipped with ESP). Someone posted the sheet from the Audi manual here:

Also, 2006MY and newer cars should be using the low-vis DOT4.
