I was going to order an 8GB class 10 SDHC card to go into my interface SD card reader and was told - Quote

" Yes this will use SDHC cards but you should use a maximum speed of Class 6.
This devices is SD2.0 rather than SD3.0 meaning it has a Class 6 speed limit."

Is this true?

Class 6 sounds about right. I just got the lowest class that was on sale and it works fine, definitely no need for high speed when it comes to MP3.

I just purchased an 8 GB SDHC class 4 memory card today. I'd like to put music on it and store it in my car to listen to music instead of...or in addition to...my iPod.

What are some of the best ways to get music to the SD card? Can I move music from my iPod to the empty SD card from within my car? Or do I need to buy a SD card reader and move music to the SD card from my computer first, then insert it into the SD slot in my car to listen to the music?

I dont think you can Xfer music from Ipod to SD card.

there's really no point to get a Class 10 SDHC card unless you are recording video on it. If it's for storage and getting data/media out of it, class 6 is more than sufficient.
