Default She feels like new again

So i spent Saturday working on my 110k miles driven A6, basically doing everything you would for a 55k except i did a motor flush also. But the time spent was well worth it, she sounds smoother and definately feel her get up n go like when i first drove her. Perhaps its the extra construction going on in my area; but the air filter were the worst i even seen it. The cabin filter were also in pretty bad shape. I have also noticed by changing those filters the air from the vents seems a bit more powerful.

not to make pointless observation, but if construction site cloged your cabin filter, what did it do to your lungs? are you sure they follow all rules related to air quality? you always can check with DOB or EPA on this.

Change your rear diff fluid as well. And use Audi's magic potion for the fuel injectors.
I used Lubro moly 75w90 diff fluid and Audi injector cleaner G001770A2, made a world of difference after just 50k

So could you enlighten me on what the rear differential fluid is? I know, I should already know this.

Thanks.

Its the fluid that lubricates the part that sends power to the rear wheels

I was thinking about doing the trans oil next, but now that you mention the differental i have 2 items to do.

Any reason why you chose the audi injector cleaner over the "over the counter" fuel system cleaners?

Do you know of DIY for changeing the differential fliudon our cars?

Its like any other rear differential on any car, there are a ton of guides online. Its very simple, simpler than an oil change, just drain, and fill (1.5L).

I got interested in doing this too. One question on the gear oil, 1.5L is for both diffs or just one?
