Default Sirius Part #-I have 4E0-035-593

I have a 2005 A6 with nav. The car initially came with XM. Once Stern signed with Sirius, I had the dealer swap it to Sirius for like $100 (big mistake, but that's another discussion).

In any case, I am only getting the "linking" code now. I opened up the trunk area, but the part # is:

4E0 035 593

under that, it has:
4E0 910 593B

As I read through all of the posts here, it seems that every Sirius part # starts with the 8E0, instead of the 4E0 - can someone tell me if there is a difference?

Also, I would rather switch it back to XM - what is the part # for it, if someone knows it.

Many thanks in advance.

Great price on an XM module for the 2005 here:

Hopefully they still have them in stock.

I bought the XM unit from this vendor, for my 2005 A6 from them, had it installed by an independent Audi guy that had VAG.

Works perfectly.

I was able to install mine myself. I found a great write-up on one of the forums (can't remember if it was this one). Once you know what to plug and unplug, it only takes a few minutes and its really plug & play.
