Default Updated from 2006 3.2 to 2011 3.0T: Stay with same oil?

I did a little searching, but ran out of patience. I will of course check my manual too, but I was curious on the opinions on here.
I ran Mobil 1 0W-40 in my '06 3.2 quattro (Ohio). I just got a '11 3.0T. Should I stay with the same Mobil 1 0W-40?

TIA

Mobil 1 0W-40 is still one of the Audi recommended oils. VW 502 00. That's what my Audi dealer uses.

i asked that question when i got the car and they are stating that 5w40 syn. I agree i always used 0w40 or 0w30. The owners manual states to use 5w40.

Any 502.00 oil is fine and will maintain your warranty.

FWIW, W*mart sells the 5 qt container of M1 0W40 for $25.xx. Sometimes it can be found for a couple dollars less during "price rollback".

I doubt the filters are the same, but it certainly is e-z enough to check that at the MANN website.

Oil filter is the same. 3.0T is really the 3.2 engine with a supercharger added on the top. Air filter is the same as well.

I believe the spark plugs are the only different part because they need to be cooler due to forced induction.
