I was notified by my mechanic I need new upper control arms and new struts in the front suspesion of my 3.2 Does anyone happen to know an estimate I can expect to pay?

You can check on-line vendors for parts price.
Why he want to change strut?
Strut doesn't go bad easily and very hard to test it unless it is leaking oil.

eneded up buying two struts from genuine audi parts and 4 bushings instead buying the full control arms

So im Replacing 2 upper bushings per side -- and a strut per side

parts total is 500


hopefully ride is way better that it is now....do you guys seem to think it will be???


they recommend i do serpentine belt...i told them to order it only $50

......is it worth it?

I got an estimate for $1000 to replace my control arm bushings. Mind you that is just the bushings. Not the control arm itself. The bushings run about 25 bucks each from the dealership so About 900 in labor.
