Urgent Suggestion: A6 3.2 or 3.0 Quattro?
Hello Folks:
I just totalled my car and am looking into A6 this time. Due to cost, I am looking into both A6 3.2 or 3.0 Quattro models. Will surely be taking the Premium Plus/Nav on either cars.
My question is: Does buying a quattro and spending another $5000 make that much sense. Besides the price and horse power, is there anything that I should be seriously considering in order to move up to Quattro?
Currently, I am leaning towards the A6 3.2. Not sure whether I'm going to finance or lease. But definitely wanted to collect thoughts, experiences here. BTW, what prices/negotations should I expect?
Thanks for all your help.

I believe the 3.2 A6 comes with a CVT.

If you are even considering an Audi lease it. My parents bought there A6 new for $55k now its value is only $16-17k. Nice car but definetly not worth the $38k loss over four years. So many other nicer makes/models available for $10k a year.
The quattro makes the car. Don't go with that FronTrak crap.

I went with a 2006 CVT A6 and regret not going with the Quattro. I just don't like the way the CVT drives and after driving a Quattro loaner for a couple of weeks, IMO Quattro is well worth the extra $$.
The only positive thing I can say about the CVT is that it gets great gas mileage.
BMW's definitely seem to hold their value more than Audi's. I'm thinking that I'll go with Plan "B" for my next car.
