What happens if you put a Europe NAV DVD into a US Audi?

Default What happens if you put a Europe NAV DVD into a US Audi?
I am just wondering one of my friends got his hand on a 2010 Audi Europe MMI 2g Navigation DVD.

I have 2005 Audi A6 with factory navigation. Does anyone know what will happen if I stick the DVD in my car? Irreversible damage?

Is it possible to switch between the two the US Nav DVD and the Euro Nav DVD? Someone told me it might overwrite the MMI and the US Nav DVD would not work anymore.

Lol, why would you want to anyways? If youre exporting your car to Europe, yes thats possible but changes have to be made via VAGCOM.
