I would be skeptical. This needs to be the same trans that is in your car now. The best way to figure that out is to locate the green and white tag, take a photo and have them send you a photo. I want to say my mine, there were 2 options.
I got mine from LKQ or what ever the initials are.
Does your car have the 4.2 V-8? I’m being told the 4.2 and 3.2 used different transmissions.

I do have a 4.2, and no my core will not work on your car. I have a 53 page pdf that lists danm near every transmission that Audi has used over the years, gong back to the 80. PM me your email and I will get it to you.
You can also locate the Green and silver tag on the trans that will give you the best info. In this case mine is a HWE, all of this info is good to know if you are going to drop the pan and try replacing the solinoids or order fluids, filers and gaskets or replace the trans.
