I have 101k miles on my 2006. So far the big items have been the torque (50k) and catalytic converter (78k) which were both covered under warranty. Besides that the standard maintenance items - oil change every 7.5-8k miles - air/fuel filter every 30k. Spark plugs every 75k. Got transmission fluid flush (2x) and carbon cleanup at 50k. Replaced pre and post O2 sensors at 75k. Brake pads. Replaced the shocks/springs and rear sway bar (voluntary at 50k)
I am hoping to keep the car till 200k... and then replace it with an electric since the cost of gas will probably be really high by then!

I have 115,200 on my 2006 A6 3.2L. Runs like new! Seriously, smooth ride, high performance, great all season and terrain. I will keep it for 4-5 more years. I suspect it will run well past 150,000. But, I'd like to get a newer Audi A6 or A6 within that time.

My previous a6 wagon lasted 16 years and 192k miles. I hope to keep the current one much longer since I learned on my mistakes.
Did I mention, that the car get compliments from others all the time.

I've got about 76K on my '08. I kept my last ('99 Avant) until just under 200K. I'm keeping it for a while. Also, I won't know what to get, I like the room of the A6 Avant, but by the time I'm ready to buy again, who knows if they'll have them back in the states. I'd rather not get a Q5 or Q7.

My 07 Avant was purchased recently with 84k on the clock and I've put it up to 85k.
Just did the oil and air filters. Doing Fuel Filter, Tranny and Diffs next.
I'm thinking this car will easily make 200k before the chassis is tired. The way I take car of my cars, this thing can easily go 400k miles (drivetrain-wise).
I will make the decision at about 130k whether or not to do the timing work and major overhaul to keep the car past 200k. This will depend on several factors including how it holds up and the availability of a newish Allroad in my price bracket (that's career dependent too)
