LOL, I just went thru this same quest with a set of 20x9s. To answer your question, No they won't unless you're staying at stock height and don't mind then poking out over an inch...

I tried 20x9 ET35 with 265/30 tires and they hit the body, but the same with ET45 clears nicely.

stock or lowered suspension..what tire size?
i do not have 20s on my car so I can not say yes for sure, but am replying in hopes to be helpful. i am looking at getting 20s also BUT not 10 wide..
see if maybe they are staggered? u might be better with less width for the fronts? .. if they might fit it will def be an aggressive fit ESPECIALLY the fronts... Lets say u want 275 30 20 tires *not sure if anyone running that upfront
According to rimsntires.com calc
SUSPENSION - Package is 5 mm (0.2'') closer to suspension/brakes components. Acceptable for most cars
FENDERS - Package will stick out 25 mm (1'') farther. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider narrower tires or higher offset.
WHEELSWELLS - Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 11 mm (0.3"). Acceptable for most cars.
for the fenders i believe we have enough room but the package is growing out and up at the same time ... i am looking at 9 wide and will not get them until i know someone is running them with the same tire size n same or stronger offset... and hopefully look at them in person or in pics 1st. u might have to do the same
good luck

I forgot to mention that they were 20x8.5 in the front with a 35mm offset, those should fit fine right?

you will def rub. i got 19x8 et 35 and its a perfect flush... a 10x wide rim with anything less than 48 or so offset would be a problem.
even the s6 oem rim is 19x9 et 52
