2012 A7 B&O Center Dash Rattling Noise
I've been having a crazy rattling noise in the center dash, ive taken of the cover already but i really don't know my best option to fix this on going hell. im a big music guy and when something interferes with my music it drives me crazy! im wondering if anyone has done to fix this issue. i looked on several posts about this issue and almost everyone seems to have it. but no one really has a solid solution for it.. if anyone has fixed this issue properly id like to know asap! im a little disappointed in Audi, i mean we pay so much money to get a upper level car, and here were stuck with poor quality of rattling noises which could have been prevented if they did their proper plastic insulations.

First you have to identify where the rattling is actually coming from. It could be from the speaker assembly itself, something around it; or in some cases the HUD unit frame. Have someone else in the car to help you with that. You can take the cover off and secure anything lose with felt tape or padding material. If you are sure it's the actual speaker itself; you have to decide if are you replacing it with an OEM speaker ($$$) or a suitable aftermarket one.
Here is a write up I did a couple of month ago on replacing a Bose Speaker on an A6 as a starting point: https://thetechycorner.wordpress.com...er-on-a-c7-a6/
Hope that helps.
