2016 Audi A7 Hidden Menu Access

Just joined this forum as I recently purchased a 2016 Audi A7 and immediately went out and purchased a VCDS interface to set it up for my personal taste.
I have read a bit here and on other forums and still cannot make the hidden green menu appear.
I've tried the steps below so far using HEX-V2 interface, VCDS and MMI:
1. Select 5F - Information Elect.
2. Select Security Access and entered S12345 password - the security code was accepted
3. Select Adaptation 10
4. Change the adaptation channel filter to 'devel', select 'IDE02122 Developer mode', set new channel value to activated and save - IDE02122 shows as activated when reloaded
5. Reboot MMI - this worked, as MMI the display went black and then reloaded
6. Hold down various button sequences which did not work
o NAV/CAR and RADIO buttons for 5 seconds
o NAV/CAR and MEDIA buttons for 5 seconds
o BACK and LOWER LEFT SOFT key for 5 seconds
Not sure what else to try.
Is there something else which needs to be done with VCDS before attempting to bring up the green menu?
Can anyone with a 2016 A7 comment as to the accuracy of any of the green menu button sequences?

On my 2015 A7 TDI I had to activate the green menu, using my ODBEleven device. There is a menu item on it to do that. After doing that, I can now get into the green menu by holding the buttons down. I could not do that before the activation process.
