OK I am brand new on here and have a weird situation that just started on my 2013 A7 with just over 100,000 miles on it. The other day I was driving and on of the clear blue when I was sitting in a parking lot with the AC running after a minute or so the AC started to not blow so cold, after I left and got back on the road again it started blowing cold again. I was sitting in a drive thru waiting on something and I noticed it did it again, while I was sitting there with the car just idling I got a warning up on the dash about the car reaching a very high temperature and when I looked at the gauge it was just hitting the red light on the temp. I quickly turned the AC and car off and waited a few minutes before I got on the street and drove and the cars temp went back to normal at half way on the gauge. Now this seems to be an intermittent thing as later that day i went to pick up my wife for work and sat in the parking lot with the car running and the AC running for about 10 minutes and everything was perfect, it was a little cooler outside but not sure why it didnt do it than. It seems the car has only gotten above half way on the temp gauge twice in the last week or so but the AC seems to stop cooling quite more than that when I am stopped and idling but will freeze you out of the car once your moving. I did take it to a shop and he hooked up the computer to the car and it gave off 3 codes, P069100 (Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit Low), P069300 (Cooling Fan 2 Control Circuit 2 Low), and P1B1C00 (Coolant Pump Mechanical Malfunction). So that day to check it because they didnt have a lot of time they put the car up on the rack and checked the relays for the fans on the passenger side of the radiator and said there was no power to them, also pulled the plastic trim off between the windshield and engine bay and in the center is where the fuse box is for those relays. That box seems to be in a hard place to get to and he didnt have time to pull everything off to get to the fuses so he tried to check for power coming out of there going to the relays and said there was none. This is just a local shop and not an Audi dealership so before I take it back and have them fishing around is there anybody on here that might have a clue what is going on here? I also have checked under the hood several times with the car up to temperature and the car running to see if the fans are running but not quite sure when they do run. Thanks a lot for any help.
